How do you score points in Flip 7?
In Flip 7, each player flips cards and collects number cards from 0 to 12. When they stay, they add up the values: a 4, a 7 and a 12 are worth 23 points. The deck has twelve 12s, eleven 11s… down to a single 1 and a single 0: the more a card is worth, the more likely it is to show up twice.
Watch out for the bust: if you flip a number card you already have, you’re out of the round and score 0 points, whatever cards and modifiers you had. Only a Second Chance card can save you.
Modifier cards: +2 to +10 and x2
The +2, +4, +6, +8 and +10 cards are added to your round score. The x2 card doubles only the sum of your number cards: apply it first, then add the modifiers. You can’t bust on a modifier card, and there is only one of each modifier.
Example: with a 5 and a 6 (11 points), an x2 and a +4, you score 11 × 2 + 4 = 26 points. The calculator applies this order automatically.
The Flip 7 bonus: 7 different cards
The perfect round: collecting 7 different number cards in the same round. You earn a 15-point bonus on top of your cards, and the round ends immediately for everyone. The 0 counts as a number card but is worth nothing.
The bonus isn’t doubled by the x2: with 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 (21 points) and an x2, you score 42 + 15 = 57 points. The calculator detects the Flip 7 as soon as you select the seventh card.
End of the game: 200 points, and the highest score wins
Rounds follow one another and scores add up. The game ends at the end of the round in which at least one player reaches 200 points. The winner is then the player with the most points, not necessarily the first one past 200.
The rules don’t cover a tie for first place: the usual fix is to play one more round. The calculator announces the winner as soon as the game is over and flags ties.
Don’t lose your games once the points are counted
The web calculator helps you out at the table, but it doesn’t create any game history or stats to look back on later. In Board Games Buddy, scoring is part of tracking your game: keep your results, link your friends’ profiles and look back at your stats together.

FAQ
Does the x2 also double the +2 to +10 cards?
No. The x2 card only doubles the sum of the number cards. The +2 to +10 modifiers are added afterwards and are not doubled.
Is the Flip 7 bonus doubled by the x2?
No. The 15-point Flip 7 bonus is added after the x2 and the modifiers.
How many points do you score when you bust?
Zero. A player who flips a number card they already have loses all their cards for the round, modifiers included, unless they use a Second Chance card.
Does the 0 count towards the Flip 7?
Yes. The 0 is a number card: it counts as one of the 7 different cards of a Flip 7, even though it is worth no points.
Who wins if several players go over 200 points?
The game ends at the end of the round in which someone reaches 200 points, and the player with the most points wins. In case of a tie, players usually play one more round.
Do Freeze, Flip Three and Second Chance cards score points?
No. Action cards change how the round plays out but don’t count towards the score. Only number cards, modifiers and the Flip 7 bonus score points.
